Dr. Muhammad Al-Borai graduated from Al-Azhar College of Medicine in 2002 with distinction with honors and spent his training period at Al-Hussein University Hospital, then worked as a resident doctor in the General Internal Medicine Department of the Liver, Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Unit in the same hospital, during which he trained in the work of gastrointestinal endoscopy follow-up and treatment of diseases of the liver and digestive system.

He received his Master’s degree in General Internal Medicine from Al-Azhar College of Medicine, where he studied the relationship between cirrhosis and liver enzymes at the master’s stage.

He completed a study mission to conduct doctoral research at the University of Magdeburg in Germany, from which he reached a test to diagnose liver fiber degrees through a blood sample instead of the liver sample. He received his (international) doctorate degree from Al-Azhar University in Cairo on liver fibers and their relationship to tumor markers.

He obtained the membership of the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom in the specialty of General Internal Medicine, and obtained the Certificate of Specialization in Hepatology and Gastroenterology from the Royal College of Physicians in London, as well as the membership of the American College of Gastroenterology.

Dr. / Mohamed El-Borai is currently working as a teacher of general internal medicine, liver and digestive system at Al-Azhar Faculty of Medicine in Cairo

Dr. Muhammad Al-Borai regularly participates in many local and international conferences and scientific meetings and has many scientific researches published in prestigious medical journals.
